Edward P.⁸ Whitney (Asa P.⁷, George W.⁶, Asa⁵, Nathan⁴, Nathaniel³, Benjamin², John¹), son of Asa P.⁷, was born 29 Oct 1843, and died 25 Jan 1874, Harrison, ME.

He married, 24 Dec 1866, Carrie Whiting. She was born 25 Jul 1846.

He resided Harrison, ME.

Children of Edward P.⁸ and Carrie (Whiting) Whitney:

i.	Edward G.9 Whitney, b. 6 Nov 1867; m. 29 Oct 1891, Esther J. Mansfield, b. 28 Nov 1869. He is a druggist, and resided Townsend, MA.
