Elisha M.7 Whitney (Israel6, Daniel5, Daniel4, Benjamin3, John2, John1), son of Israel6 and Sally (Mills) Whitney, was born about 12 Aug 1817, Watertown, MA, and died 3 Jan 1879, Berlin, MA, aged 61 years 4 months 10 days.[1]

He married, 23 Feb 1842, Marlborough, MA, Electa Bigelow,[2] daughter of Levi and Nancy (Ames) Bigelow. She was born about 17 Apr 1819, Marlborough, MA, and died 2 Apr 1892, Berlin, MA, aged 72 years 11 months 15 days.[3]

Children of Elisha M.7 and Electa (Bigelow) Whitney, if any, unknown.

i. (adopted) Lucy A. Atherton Whitney, b. 20 Mar 1845, Charlestown, MA, daughter of Robert and Abby H. (Ray) Atherton; m. 19 Nov 1862, Berlin, MA, or 20 Nov 1862, Northborough, MA, James M. Hastings, b. ca. 1839, Berlin, MA, son of Henry and Mary K. (-----) Hastings.[4]
