Franklin J.9 Whitney (Joseph Talcott8, Joseph7, Phinehas6, Joshua5, Nathaniel4, Nathaniel3, John2, John1), son of Joseph Talcott8 and Ellen M. (Wilcox) Whitney, was born Feb 1856, Oneida Castle, NY, and died 15 Aug 1918. He was buried in Albany Rural Cemetery, Menands, NY.[1]

He married, about 1882, Carrie E. Rivenburg, daughter of George and Caroline (-----) Rivenburg. She was born Feb 1860, NY, and died after 1924. She married secondly, 18 Oct 1924, Tivoli, NY, Floyd P. Smith.
