Germain A.4 Whitney (Israel3, Ebenezer2, Elijah1), son of Israel3 and Ann (Gleason) Whitney, was born about 1840, Ashtabula Co., OH, and died 7 Oct 1894, Ashtabula Harbor, OH.

He married firstly, before 1865, Caroline Mary (Warren) Buck, daughter of William and Catherine (Newton) Warren. She was born about 1829, Austinburg, OH, and died 13 Aug 1880, Kingsville, OH. She married firstly, about 1849, Samuel Buck, Jr.

He married secondly, 8 May 1881, Ashtabula Co., OH, Hattie Knapp.[1]
