John Beadon7 Whitney (Josiah6, Josiah5, David4, Benjamin3, John2, John1) son of Josiah6 and Mary (Barrett) Whitney, was born 7 Apr 1801, Ashby, MA,[1] and died 26 Aug 1882, Ashby, MA.[2]

He married, 1 Mar 1829, Ashby, MA, Harriett Cushing,[3] daughter of David and Mary (-----) Cushing. She was born 15 Nov 1803, Boston, MA, and died 11 Jul 1875, Ashby, MA, aged 71 years 8 months, of pericarditis.[4]

He married secondly, 15 Jun 1876, Ashby, MA, Sophronia (Hamblet) Boring, daughter of David and Polly (-----) Hamblet.[5] She was born about 1816, and died before 1882.

He resided Ashby and Fitchburg, MA.
