John Merrick6 Whitney (James Rex5, Caleb4, William3, Joshua2, John1), born Franklin, Georgia, 4 Jun 1792; married 19 Oct 1818, Clarissa Montgomery, born 21 Apr 1798; died 9 Jun 1871. He died 18 Nov 1867; resided Fayette, Mississippi.
