Family:Whitney, Jonah (1771-1810)

Jonah⁶ Whitney (Thomas⁵, Thomas⁴, Eleazer³, Thomas², John¹), son of Thomas⁵ and Ann (Gould) Whitney; born 25 Aug 1771; married 21 May 1797, Anna Rider. He was killed while moving a building. His widow requested the Probate Court to grant her an assignment of her dower, according to the law 13 Apr 1813. He died 3 Oct 1810; resided Shrewsbury and Westborough, Massachusetts.

iii.	Seraph Whitney, born 4 Apr 1802; died 16 Oct 1803

v.	Polly Whitney, born 9 Oct 1806.
vi.	Margaret Ann Whitney, born 1 Feb 1809.
vii.	Jonah Whitney, born 29 Mar 1811.
