Family:Whitney, Jonas (1771-1845)

Jonas⁶ Whitney (Aaron⁵, Jonas⁴, Moses³, Richard², John¹), born Harvard, Massachusetts, 21 Oct 1770; married in Blandford, Massachusetts, Mary Noble. She died ae. 77 years. He was a blacksmith. He died in 1845; resided Otis, Massachusetts.

Children of Jonas⁶ Whitney:

i.	Barnabas7 Whitney, born 1 May 1791; resided New York state.
ii.	Harvey Whitney, born 23 Jul 1795; d.s.p.
iii.	Erastus Marvin Whitney, born 28 Jul 1797; married Mrs. Mary E. (Jackson) Davidson.
iv.	Mary Whitney, born 20 Feb 1801; died in Chester, Massachusetts, and left one dau.
v.	Alice Whitney, born 21 Mar 1803; died at Hartford, Connecticut, leaving one dau.
vi.	Silas Whitney, born 4 Apr 1805; married Ann Fay.
vii.	Milton Whitney, born 17 Apr 1807; resided in Iowa.
