Jonathan4 Whitney (Jonathan3, Benjamin2, John1), son of Jonathan3 and Susannah (Fairbanks) Whitney, was born 7 Oct 1704, Sherborn, MA,[1] and died 28 Jan 1755, Milford, MA, in his 51st year.[2].
He married, 26 Jan 1726/7, Mendon, MA, Lydia Jones,[3] daughter of Elder John and Sarah (Lobdell) Jones. She was born 17 Sep 1705, Mendon, MA, and died 4 May 1783, Milford, MA, aged 77 years.[4]
He lived at Hopkinton, Holliston, Mendon, Medway, and Milford, MA.
He was a Captain in the French and Indian War, 1748.
Administration on his estate was granted to Isaac Whitney.
