Josiah Francis7 Whitney (Silas6, Josiah5, Nathaniel4, Nathaniel3, Benjamin2, John1), son of Silas6 and Elvira J. (Lane) Whitney, was born 23 Mar 1825,[1] Gorham, ME, died 29 Mar 1908.

He married, 14 May 1850, Long Pond, ME, Mary Moore. She was born 15 Mar 1833, Concord, ME, and died 29 Jun 1909.

He was a farmer; resided Solon, ME.
