Luke⁷ Whitney (Josiah⁶, Abraham⁵, Abraham⁴, Isaiah³, Thomas², John¹), son of 22 Apr 1803, Harvard, MA,^[1] and probably died after 1880.

Probably he was the Luke Whitney to whom the following records pertain.

He married firstly, 29 Sep 1823, Bathsheba Brown, daughter of Lyman and Miriam⁷ (Whitney) Brown, and granddaughter of Samuel⁶ and Phebe (Harrington) Whitney. She was born 25 Nov 1804, Marlboro, VT, and died before 1850.

He married secondly, before 1870, Aurilla -----

iii.	Horatio Whitney, b. ca. 1832-1834, MA; d. after 1880; m. Catherine -----. Also called Horace; of Springfield, PA, 1850; of Van Etten, Chemung Co., NY, in 1860, 1870, and 1880.
iv.	(daughter) Whitney, b. 1830-1835 (deduced from 1840 census). No further record found.
v.	Brunett Whitney, b. ca. 1837, MA; d. after 1850.
