Nathaniel5 Whitney (Nathaniel4, Nathaniel3, John2, John1), son of Nathaniel4 and Mercy (Robinson) Whitney, was born 23 Jan 1695/6, Watertown, MA,[1] baptized 17 Jun 1711, Weston, MA, aged 15 years, and died 27 Jan 1776, Westborough, MA, aged 80 years.[2]

He "Jr., of Weston" married, 20 Jul 1721 or 22 Jun 1722, Weston, MA, Mary Child "of Watertown",[3] daughter of John and Hannah (French) Child. She was born 1699, Westborough, MA, and died 3 Dec 1776, Westborough, MA, aged 77 years.

He settled in Westborough, MA. On 15 Oct 1727, at Concord, MA, he owned the covenant. On 21 Jan 1728, he and his wife Mary were admitted to the church, Westborough, MA.

Pierce includes a son David in this family, but that is an error for David5 Whitney, brother of Nathaniel5 above.
