Nathaniel⁸ Whitney (Levi⁷, Reuben⁶, Abel⁵, Nathan⁴, Nathaniel³, Benjamin², John¹), son of Levi⁷ and Hannah (Whitney) Whitney, was born 12 Mar 1828, and died 1876.

He "of Richmond" married, 22 Nov 1855, Portland, ME, Jane M. Sweetser "of Portland".^[1] She was born about 1832, and died after 1870.
