He married, 24 Jul 1845, Whitney, NB, Jessie Sinclair, daughter of Andrew and Jane (-----) Sinclair. She was born 23 Jan 1823, Scotland, and died 26 Jun 1891, Whitney, NB, at age 68.

Both were buried in St. Phillip's United Church Cemetery, Whitney, NB

They lived at Whitney, NB.

vii.	William Parker Whitney, b. 6 Jan 1859, Whitney, NB; d. 1 Jun 1861, Whitney, NB, at age 2.
viii.	Ernest Moses Whitney, b. 14 Feb 1861, Whitney, NB; d. 15 Nov 1880, Oscoda, MI, at age 19. He was also known as Valentine. Ernest Moses Whitney lived at Oscoda, MI. He was killed by a falling tree in the woods at Oscoda, MI. He had moved there three month's before.
