Samuel A.8 Whitney (Moses7, Samuel6, Ebenezer5, Samuel4, John3, Benjamin2, John1), son of Moses7 and Charlotte (Cromwell) Whitney, was born 2 Feb 1844, Linneus, ME, and died 1 Jul 1900, Stevens Point, WI, aged 56 years. He was buried in Forest Cemetery, Stevens Point, WI.[1]

He married, Nancy A. Small, daughter of John A. and Jane (-----) Small. She was born 13 Nov 1847, ME or NB, and died 26 Mar 1891, Stevens Point, WI.
