Samuel A.8 Whitney (Moses7, Samuel6, Ebenezer5, Samuel4, John3, Benjamin2, John1), son of Moses7 and Charlotte (Cromwell) Whitney, was born 2 Feb 1844, Linneus, ME, and died 1 Jul 1900, Stevens Point, WI.

He married, Nancy A. Small, daughter of John A. and Jane (-----) Small. She was born 13 Nov 1847, ME or NB, and died 26 Mar 1891, Stevens Point, WI.

Children of Samuel A.8 and Nancy A. (Small) Whitney:

i. Myra Marion9 Whitney, b. 10 Oct 1872, Weston, ME.
ii. George S. Whitney, b. ca. 1873, Weston, ME.
iii. John Mosman Whitney, b. 27 April 1877, Weston, ME

Notes

There was another Samuel Whitney, born Nov 1843, New Brunswick, and wife Lucy (Brawley), who lived in Stevens Point, WI, in 1880, 1900, 1905, 1910, and 1920. That man was a first cousin of this one.
