Samuel B. Homer7 Whitney (David Morse6, George5, Jason4, Mark3, Benjamin2, John1), son of David Morse6 and Mary Ann (Gilmore) Whitney, was born 11 Oct 1832, Natick, MA,[1] and died 12 Dec 1884, Cochituate, MA, aged 53 years 2 months, of consumption.[2] He was buried in Natick, MA.

He married, 25 Nov 1864, Natick, MA, Eldora "Dora" (Collins) Thurston, daughter of Martin and Margaret (Clyde) Collins.[3] She was born about 1835-1837, Ireland, and died 30 May 1893, Wayland, MA, aged 58 years 10 months 28 days, of uraemic poisoning.[4] She had married firstly, 3 Sep 1852, Norway, ME, Hiram Leonard Thurston, who was born 7 Aug 1828, Oxford, ME, and died 21 Aug 1864, Washington, DC.

She resided Cochituate. He was a soldier during the late war in the 1st Massachusetts Cavalry. He resided Cochituate, MA. He was a shoemaker.

Lillie Blanche Whitney, b. 16 Nov 1868, Wayland, MA [given name omitted];[6] d. 25 Sep 1891, Wayland, MA, aged 22 years 10 months, of diarrhea;[7] m. 6 Jun or 26 May 1888, Boston, MA [also recorded at Wayland, MA], Edward L. Groves, b. ca. 1866, Chicago, IL, son of Lawson and Maria (-----) Groves.[8]
