William Henry8 Whitney (Charles A.7, John6, Timothy5, Daniel4, Jonathan3, Jonathan2, John1), son of Charles A.7 and Sarah R. (Ainsworth) Whitney, was born 21 Nov 1853, Westborough [or Northborough or Shrewsbury], MA, and died 15 Jun 1933, Fitchburg, MA. He was buried in Forest Hill Cemetery, Fitchburg, MA.[1]

He married, 10 Apr 1880, Fitchburg, MA, Iola Winifred Hicks, daughter of William H. and Sarah A. (Butts) Hicks.[2] She was born 26 Apr 1858, New Bedford, MA, and died 13 Oct 1920, Fitchburg, MA. She was buried in Forest Hill Cemetery, Fitchburg, MA.[3]

He was a railroad brakeman.
