Willis Stephen Whitney (David Harvey, David, [poss.] Jonathan⁶, Nathan⁵, Thomas⁴, Eleazar³, Thomas², John¹), son of David Harvey and Fidelia (Thresher) Whitney, was born 21 Nov 1858, Northfield, VT (given name omitted),^[1] and died 7 Oct 1886, Granville, VT.

He married, 5 Feb 1884, Granville, VT, Jennie Olivia Carpenter, daughter of Nathan and Susan O. (-----) Carpenter.^[2] She was born about 1863, Braintree, VT.

Children of Willis Stephen and Jennie Olivia (Carpenter) Whitney:

i.	Mamie Lou Whitney, b. 20 Feb 1885, Granville, VT.
