Zuri⁸ Whitney (Artemas Hammond⁷, John Smith⁶, Thomas⁵, Thomas⁴, Eleazer³, Thomas², John¹), son of Artemas H.⁷ and Abby (Skinner) Whitney, was born 29 Jan 1823, Dana, MA.

He married, 18 Dec 1845, Ludlow, MA, Sarah S. Alden. She was born Mar 1822, and died 10 Jun 1888.

He is a farmer; resided Ludlow Center, MA.

Children of Zuri⁸ and Sarah S. (Alden) Whitney:

i.	Charles M.9 Whitney, b. 20 Dec 1852; m. Lillian C. Arnold.
