Welcome to the Whitney Research Group! Thanks, too, for posting your lineage back to your grandfather. If you can supply just a bit more information, we may be able to trace your ancestry back a long way. Was your grandfather Donald Arthur Whitney the same as one Donald A. Whitney born about 1927 in Montana? If not, can you supply dates and/or places for his birth, and/or the names of his parents?
