Charles7 Whitney (Phinehas6, William5, William4, Nathaniel3, John2, John1), son of Phinehas6 and Lydia (Bowes) Whitney, was born 2 Jan 1794, Shirley, MA, was baptized 5 Jan 1794, Shirley, MA,[1] and died 6 Oct 1832, Peterborough, NH. He was buried in the Center Cemetery, Shirley, MA.[2]

Marriage intentions were published -- Aug 1815, West Boylston, MA, for him "resident of West Boylston" and Dolly Davenport "of Boylston".[3] He "of West Boylston" married, 12 Sep 1815, Boylston, MA, Dolly Davenport,[4] daughter of Matthew and Patience (Goodenow) Davenport. She was born 15 Nov 1793,[5] or 15 Nov 1792, Boylston, MA,[6] and died 23 Apr 1850. She was buried in the Center Cemetery, Shirley, MA.[7]

He resided Shirley, MA, and Peterborough, NH.
