George⁶ Whitney (Samuel⁵, Benjamin⁴, Thomas³, Thomas², John¹), son of Samuel⁵ and Abigail (Cutler) Whitney, was born 22 Sep 1765, Concord, MA, and died 1805, some say in Baltimore, MD.

He married Mercy -----, of whom nothing is known.

Child of George⁶ and Mercy (-----) Whitney:

i.	Abigail7 Whitney, b. say 1791; d. 1821, Marietta, OH; "of Lincolnville" m.(1) (int. 18 Feb 1812, Lincolnville, ME) Dudley Tyler "of Camden",[1] and he d. leaving two sons; m.(2) ----- Brown.
