Wayman C. Whitney (Hiram, (perhaps) Elijah), son of Hiram and Mary Ann (Harris) Whitney, was born circa 1824, KY, and died after 1860, KY. In 1850 he was listed as being a cooper (barrel maker).
W H McRae Adm of W C Whitney decd. In account with said estate. The adm states that all of the property appraised on account of which is recorded in Will book W pages 292 & 293 was set apart to the widow but by an omission on the part of the appraiser the fact was not mentioned a certificate of the appraisers to that effect is filed herewith marked "A" to amount received of William Wallace on settlement the account of which is not reflected on inventory & appraisement.
