John9 Whitney (Benjamin8, John7, Abner6, Samuel5, William4, Nathaniel3, John2, John1), son of Benjamin8 and Mehitabel (Whitcomb) Whitney, was born 3 Feb 1832, Fitchburg, MA.[1]

He married 8 Apr 1854, Fitchburg, MA, Caroline Maguire, daughter of Henry and Ellen (-----) Maguire.[2] She was born about 1833, Scotland.
