James A. Whitney (Ephraim Crocker, Ephraim), son of Ephraim and Cymbelina (Dinsmore) Whitney,. was born 25 Nov 1853, Marshfield, ME, and died after 1930.
He married, 13 Jul 1895, Westbrook, ME, Clara E. Holmes, daughter of William L. and Lydia R. (Foss) Holmes. She was born 19 Feb 1858, Marshfield, ME, and died 19 Mar 1914, Westbrook, ME.
