Ephraim⁸ Whitney (Daniel⁷, Daniel⁶, Daniel⁵, Richard⁴, Richard³, Richard², John¹), son of Daniel⁷ and Sarah (Marble) Whitney, was born 19 Sep 1817,^[1] Stow, MA.^[2]

He married, 22 Jul 1850, Still River, MA, Mary Haskell. She was born 6 Dec 1825.^[3]

He resided Still River, MA.

i.	Herbert H. Whitney, b. 19 Oct 1851; m. 8 May 1882; resided Grafton.
ii.	Helen F. Whitney, b. 7 Apr 1854; m. 22 Mar 1893, Royal Cheney; resided Still River, MA.
iii.	Arthur S. Whitney, b. 16 May 1856; d. 17 Apr 1877, Stow.
iv.	William H. Whitney, b. 14 Aug 1859; m. 18 Sep 1888, Bertha M. Mason, b. 5 Aug 1869; resided s. p., Potsdam, NY; is a gardner and plant grower owning large greenhouses.
v.	Alfred R. Whitney, b. 14 Sep 1862; d. 25 Feb 1883.
vi.	Edward H. Whitney, b. 2 Mar 1869; m. 31 Aug 1894, Mary L. Taylor, b. 28 May 1866; res., s. p., 21 Townsend St., Worcester, MA.
vii.	Mary A. Whitney, b. 25 Oct 1871; resided Still River, MA.
