He "2nd" married firstly, 6 Aug 1843, Hampden, ME, Sophia L. Miller, both of Hampden.[1] She was born about 1821, ME, and died 22 Jan 1852, Hampden, ME.

He "of Hampden" married secondly, 19 Aug 1852, Hampden, ME, Barberry J. (or Jane B.) Sewell, of Newburgh, ME.[2] She was born about 1821, ME, and died 11 Feb 1863, Hampden, ME.

Charles and both of his wives are buried in Locust Grove Cemetery, Hampden, ME.
