Cyrus O.8 Whitney (Benjamin Hudson7, Abraham6, Abner5, Jonas4, Eleazer3, Thomas2, John1), son of Benjamin Hudson7 and Rosella (Baker) Whitney, was born 17 Nov 1838, Hartford, VT, and died after 1880.
He married, Wilton, NH, Lydia H. Goldsmith. She was born 24 Feb 1845, NH, and died after 1880.
George L., Henry H. and Cyrus O. enlisted in 1861 in the 6th Regiment Vermont Volunteers; were discharged and re-enlisted as veterans in twenty-three battles, was four times wounded, and has two honorable discharges; resided Wilton, NH.
