Amos7 Whitney (Levi6, Jonas5, Jonas4, Moses3, Richard2, John1), son of Levi6 and Hepsibeth (Fay) Whitney, was born about 14 Apr 1787, Rindge, NH, and died 27 Feb 1874, Royalston, MA, aged 86 years 10 months 13 days, of paralysis, married.[1]

Marriage intentions were published 6 Mar 1812, Fitchburg, MA, for him "of Leominster" and Sophia Harris.[2] Marriage intentions were published 23 Mar 1812, Leominster, MA, for him and Sophia Harris "of Fitchburg".[3] He married, 2 Apr 1812, Fitchburg, MA, Sophia Harris,[4] daughter of Thomas and Sophia (-----) Harris. She was born about 13 Mar 1787, Fitchburg, MA, and died 17 Oct 1877, Royalston, MA, aged 90 years 7 months 4 days, of erysipelas in the bowels, widow.[5]

Amos Whitney was born in Rindge, NH. He moved to Leominster, and married his wife in Fitchburg. In 1812 he moved to Royalston, and purchasing of Abel Downe the John Osborne place lived there ever afterward. He resided Leominster and Royalston, MA.
