He married 23 Oct 1855, Boston, MA, Matilda A. Clayton, daughter of Bartholomew and Mary (Tarr) Clayton.[1] She was born 23 Apr 1832, Freeman, ME, and died 12 Dec 1916, Hanson, MA.
