Wetherbee⁶ Whitney (Simon⁵, Jonathan⁴, Richard³, Richard², John¹), born Harvard, Massachusetts, 3 May 1746; married there 7 Jul 1774, Abigail Warner; born Feb 7, 1746. He was a farmer. His will was probated Aug 28, 1776. He died Oct 14, 1775; resided Harvard, Massachusetts.

Artemas7 Whitney, born 8 Jun 1775; died Mar 1, 1777. The wid. married 2d, Sept 12, 1778, Nicholas Oatteson; resided Harvard. He was born Mar 22, 1740. Nicholas took up land at Otter Creek, Vermont. His family remained in H. While living there in a hut he died in 1790. Ch. by Abigail: Abigail, born 22 Jul 1779; died infancy; Abigail Willard, born 13 Jun 1780; died 23 Jun 1813; Artemas, born Apr 7, 1781; Lucinda, born Feb 25, 1783; died 1832; Anna Willard, born Mar 5, 1785; Alexander, born 15 May 1787; died unmarried at sea.
