He served in Co. I, 30th Maine Infantry.

Granville A. Leavitt was the husband of Elizabeth Jane8 Whitney (Abner7, William6, Abner5, John4, Isaiah3, Thomas2, John1).

Granville enlisted 29 Dec 1863, and was discharged 20 Aug 1865 at Savannah, GA.

Granville died at Standish, ME, on 15 Oct 1902, aged 70 yrs, 7 mo, 9 days. He was born in Standish, the son of Samuel (b. Standish) and Rebecca Nason (b. Gorham) Leavitt. His mother's maiden name was given elsewhere as Wood.

Marriage: Elizabeth was previously married to Rev. Timothy S. Dodge. He died at Grant Park, Kankakee Co., IL, on 10 June 1883. They had a daughter, Phebe Benedict Dodge.

Elizabeth Dodge and Granville Leavitt were married at Standish, ME, 9 Aug 1891 by Rev. S. Cogswell.

Elizabeth was b. 7 Jan 1832, Standish, ME, and died 27 Jan 1920. She resided at Sebago Lake, ME, later in life.
