Y., 27 Aug. 1827; married in the house where she was born, 16 Nov. 1848, by Elder Swick, Baptist, to Albert Andrew Wheeler, a farmer, son of Joseph and Sarah (Kennedy) Wheeler, of Bath, N. Y., where he was born 28 March 1826. He was educated at the Genesee Wesleyan Seminary, and has retained a fondness for scientific studies. They settled at Kanona, in Bath, and were living there in March 1875.

VI. Alphonso Halliday, b. at Cameron, now Thurston, N. Y., 1 May 1831; a blacksmith; married at Pulteney, N. Y., 6 July 1853, by Rev. Hilen Dakin, Baptist, of South Pulteney, to Susan Norton Norris, dau. of Shadrach and Mary (Hyatt) Norris, of Pulteney, where she was born 7 July 1832. They settled at South Pulteney, and were living there in March 1875.

VII. Lydia Ann Halliday, b. at Cameron, now Thurston, N. Y., 9 Dec. 1839; married at South Pulteney, N. Y., 24 Ap. 1869, by Rev. A. A. Montanye, Baptist, to David Harrison Dickinson, a lumberman, son of David and Judith Potter (Story) Dickinson, of Thurston, where he was born 21 Dec. 1840. They settled at Thurston, and were living there, without children, in Feb. 1875. He enlisted at Elmira, N. Y., 16 May 1861, in Co. A, 23d Reg., N. Y. Vol. Infantry; was discharged 22 May 1863; reenlisted at Rochester, N. Y., 16 Jan. 1864, in Co. G, 22d Reg., N. Y. Vol. Cavalry; and was discharged 9 Aug. 1865.

Y., 13 Oct 1850, by Elder West, Baptist, to Eliza Durand, dau. of Samuel and Sarah (Reeves) Durand, of Newfield, N. Y. She was born at Covert, N. Y., 13 July 1825. They settled at Newfield, and were living there in Dec. 1876.
