p. 75, #849: Mary6 WHITNEY married, 19 (not 18) Apr 1768, Waltham, MA, William WELLINGTON, according to Waltham vital records.

p. 75, #849: William WELLINGTON was born 28 Jul 1747 (not 18 Jul 1746), Waltham, MA, according to Waltham vital records.

p. 75, #849: Isaac WELLINGTON drowned in Fresh Pond, 12 Nov 1796 (not Nov 1798), Cambridge, MA, according to Cambridge vital records and Waltham vital records. There was no son Isaac WELLINGTON born 12 Nov 1796, that being the death date of the son born in 1778.

p. 75, #849: Charles WELLINGTON was a minister, and settled in Templeton, thus this phrase should read, "Rev., sett. Templeton". He married firstly, Anna SMITH of Boston, and secondly, Adelaide F. RUSSELL, according to Templeton vital records.

p. 75, #849: Alice WELLINGTON married, 3 Mar 1803, Waltham, MA, Jonas CLARK (not James CLARKE), according to Waltham vital records.

p. 75, #849: Sybil WELLINGTON married, 18 Dec 1806, Waltham, MA, Loring (not Irving) PIERCE, according to Waltham vital records.

p. 75, #849: Darius WELLINGTON married firstly, 3 Dec 1818, Waltham, MA, Lydia SMITH, and secondly, 7 Dec 1837, Waltham, MA, Priscilla SMITH of Lexington, according to Waltham vital records.

p. 75, #851: Sarah6 WHITNEY married, 29 (not 28) Aug 1776, Waltham, MA, Bezaleel WRIGHT, according to Waltham vital records.

p. 75, #852: Ruth6 WHITNEY married Roland BLACKMER or BLACKMORE (not BLACKMAN) of Weston, according to Waltham vital records, but Roland BLACKMAN of Western (not Weston), according to Weston vital records. Although his birth is not recorded, he seems to be son of Peter and Esther (SHEPARD) BLACKMER, and born not far from 1755. Whether he was of Weston or Western [later renamed Warren, MA] is still problematical. There were certainly BLACKMER people in Western/Warren. Peter BLACKMER is alleged to have died 27 Jan 1803, Ware, MA, and Esther 17 Oct 1801, Greenwich, MA.
