Amarilla Chapman⁸ Whitney (John⁷, Phinehas⁶, Samuel⁵, William⁴, Nathaniel³, John², John¹), daughter of John⁷ and Sarah (Chapman) Whitney, was born 22 Mar 1830, Waterford, Washington County, Ohio, and died 23 Mar 1909, Beverly, Washington County, Ohio.

She married, 16 Oct 1853, Waterford, Ohio, Randolph Coburn. He was son of Theodore and Rebekah (Waterman) Coburn, born 25 Feb 1824, Mill Grove, Morgan County, Ohio, and died 26 Feb 1891, Ohio.

In the 1880 Census, Ohio, Morgan County, Meigsville, p. 140A, is found:

ii.	Gustavus Spencer Coburn, b. 22 Nov 1858, Ohio; d. 27 Mar 1886.
iii.	William Clark Coburn, b. 17 Apr 1861, Ohio; d. 31 Mar 1931, KS; m. Ida Pilkington. She was dau. of Edward and Joanna (Sherlock) Pilkington, b. 1 Jan 1863, Ohio, and d. 29 May 1930, Kansas.
iv.	Leanna Coburn, b. 3 Feb 1864, Ohio; d. 1934, Ohio; m. 8 Jul 1907, Nicholas H. Vogt. He was b. 1860.
