Benjamin F. Whitney (Perez, James, [poss.] Isaac4, Nathaniel3, Benjamin2, John1), son of Perez and Mary (Newcomb) Whitney,[1] was born 20 May 1839, Cumberland, ME,[2] and died 3 Oct 1916, Cumberland, ME, aged 78 years 3 months. He was buried in the West Cumberland Church/Universalist Cemetery, West Cumberland, ME.[3]

He "of Yarmouth" married, 29 Oct 1864, Auburn, ME, Jane Varney "of Windham".[4] She was born Mar 1843, Windham, ME, and died 9 Dec 1876, Cumberland, ME, aged 33 years 9 months. She was buried in the West Cumberland Church/Universalist Cemetery, West Cumberland, ME.[5]

Notes

There is a Benjamin Whitney buried in the West Cumberland Church/Universalist Cemetery, Cumberland, ME, who died 8 Aug 1861 aged 31 years 6 months,[9] making him born Feb 1830. This was not the same Benjamin Whitney.
