Edwin Felix⁹ Whitney (Felix Grundy⁸, Martin⁷, James⁶, Benjamin⁵, James⁴, John³, Jonathan², John¹), son of Felix Grundy⁸ and Catherine G. (Briggs) Whitney, was born 8 Sep 1856, Attleborough, MA,^[1] and died 26 Sept 1932, Providence, RI.

He married, 28 Oct 1880, Attleborough, MA, Annie Amanda Davenport, daughter of Elmer W. and Celestine (Draper) Davenport.^[2] She was born 11 Dec 1850, Attleborough, MA, and died 4 Sep 1900, Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston, MA [also recorded at Somerville, MA], aged 49 years 8 months 24 days, of carcinoma of liver, retroperitoneal gland, mitral disease, and jaundice.^[3]

He is a jewelry manufacturer; resided Dorchester, MA, 320 Boston St.
