Jackson7 Whitney (Abraham6, Abner5, Jonas4, Eleazer3, Thomas2, John1), son of Abraham6 and Rebecca (Hudson) Whitney, was born 7 Sep 1806, Hartford, VT, and died 6 Nov 1882, Northfield, VT.

He married, Oct 1827, Chester, VT, or 15 Apr 1829, Springfield, VT, Caroline Matilda Baker.[1] She was born 7 Jul 1806, Chester, VT, and died 2 May 1890, Hyde Park, MA, aged 81 years 9 months 5 days, of asthenia.[2] She was buried in Northfield, VT.

He was a millwright and owned and conducted mills at Braintree, Northfield, West Randolph and Chester. He resided Northfield, VT.

i. May8 Whitney, b. 10 Nov 1829; m. Edwin O. Partridge; resided University Av., St. Anthony Park, MN; has 2 ch.
ii. Fanny E. Whitney, b. 10 Sep 1831; m. 29 Jan 1859, Edward F. Stephens; resided s.p. 29 Davidson St., Hyde Park, MA. He was in the First U.S. Sharpshooters during the war and participated in numerous battles.
iii. John B. Whitney, b. 27 Jan 1835; m. Elizabeth Caldwell.
