Sewall Whitney (Alexander, James, [poss.] Isaac⁴, Nathaniel³, Benjamin², John¹), son of Alexander and Barbara (Winslow) Whitney, was born 13 Apr 1830, Cumberland, ME, was baptized 30 Apr 1830, North Yarmouth, ME, and died 1900.

He married, 9 Oct 1855, Cumberland, ME, Georgianna Blanchard, daughter of Andrews and Mira (-----) Blanchard. She was born 5 Apr 1836, Cumberland, ME, and died 17 Sep 1900, Cumberland, ME.

Both are buried in the Moss Side Cemetery, Cumberland, ME.
