He married, 1 Jan 1850, Ogdensburgh, NY, Catherine M. Wilson, daughter of Andrew and Catharine (Moffatt) Wilson. She was born 4 Mar 1827, County Longford, Ireland, and died after 1880.
Phoenix says the following:
- ". . . a marble-engraver . . . . They lived in Potsdam, N.Y., about one year; in Prescott, C.W., about two years; and settled, 20 Oct. 1854, at Flint, Mich., where they were living in Sept. 1874."
