William H.8 Whitney (Andrew Rollins7, Adams6, Isaac5, Isaac4, Nathaniel3, Benjamin2, John1), son of Andrew Rollins7 and Mary (Rand) Whitney, was born 19 Apr 1860, Standish, ME, and died 2 Jun 1915, Standish, ME, aged 55 years 1 month 13 days.[1]
He married about 1892, Ada G. A. Alley, daughter of Timothy G. and Sarah P. (-----) Alley of Standish, ME. She was born Aug 1874, prob. in Standish,ME, and died after 1930.
The census of 1870 notes that William was born in Standish. The 1880 census notes that he was a coat maker, and one leg was three inches shorter than the other.
