Alpheus7 Whitney (Hananiah6, Samuel5, William4, Nathaniel3, John2, John1), son of Hananiah6 and Azubah (Keyes) Whitney, was born 29 May 1794, Winchendon, MA.[1] He died after 1836, when his son Joseph was conceived, but probably before 1840, when he cannot be found in the census.

He married, Abigail Wyman. She was born in Waltham, MA. Possibly she was the widow Abigail (Case) Whitney, daughter of Joseph and Abigail (-----) Case, born about 1800, Waltham, MA, who married secondly, 9 Sep 1845, Dana, MA, Thomas Stimpson, widower, son of James and Sally (Bryant) Stimpson,[2] born 7 Sep 1764, Sudbury, MA, and died 7 Apr 1851, Dana, MA, aged 87 years, of old age.
