Benjamin7 Whitney (Lemuel6, Joshua5, Nathaniel4, Nathaniel3, John2, John1), son of Lemuel6 and Thankful (Griffeth) Whitney, was born 20 Jul 1772, Spencer, MA,[1] and died 20 Mar 1827, Wadhams Mills, NY.
He married, Essex, NY, say 1796, Betsey Bragg. She was born about 1774, MA, and died 22 May 1857, Essex, NY.
Benjamin Whitney moved from Springfield to the town of Essex, NY, about 1810 and engaged in farming. He resided Springfield, VT, and Wadhams Mills, New York.
