Erastus Marvin7 Whitney (Jonas6, Timothy5, Jonas4, Moses3, Richard2, John1), son of Jonas6 and Mary (Noble) Whitney, was born 28 Jul 1797, Otis, MA,[1] was baptized 17 Nov 1805, Otis, MA,[2] and died 17 May 1869, Otis, MA, aged 71 years 8 months 20 days, of heart disease.[3]
He married, say 1822, Otis, MA, Mrs. Mary E. (Jackson) Davidson, daughter of Ezra and Mary (Woodward) Jackson. She was born 5 Apr 1797, Blandford, MA, and died 17 or 18 Oct 1876, Otis, MA, aged 79 years 7 months 13 days, of muscular rheumatism.[4] She had married firstly, before 1815, Dyer Davison/Davidson.
