Frederick H.⁷ Whitney (Barnabas⁶, Timothy⁵, Jonas⁴, Moses³, Richard², John¹), born 25 Sep 1807; married In Boston, Abigail B. Bumstead, born 18 Oct 1812; died Mar. 5, 1891. He died 24 Aug 1864, in Trenton, New Jersey; resided Boston, Massachusetts.

i.	Frederick H.8 Whitney, born Apr., 1833; died 1856.
ii.	Jane Whitney, born Brooklyn, New York, April 14, 1832; married in Boston, 1 May 1854, William Francis George; resided 82 Myrtle St., Boston, Massachusetts. He was born 9 Oct 1838; died 30 Jun 1865; was commission merchant. Ch.: Katherine Whitney, born Sept., 1, 1855; Isabel Percy, born July 7, 1858.
iii.	Catherine Lillie Whitney, born Boston, Massachusetts, 1838; married in New York City, in 1859, Walter Scott Tower. Ch.: Paul, died 1861. She died May 18, 1861.
iv.	Josiah Bumstead Whitney, born Dedham, Massachusetts, 15 Jul 1846; unmarried
v.	Calista Stuart Whitney, born Dedham, Massachusetts, 18 Jun 1848; unmarried: resided Boston.
