George Clay7 Whitney (Samuel6, Isaac5, Jason4, Mark3, Benjamin2, John1), son of Samuel6 and Ann (Stroup) Whitney, was born 13 Jul 1844 and died 14 Nov 1904. He was buried in Clinton Grove Cemetery, Clinton, MI.[1]

He married, 17 Jun 1877, Martha A. Fries. She was born 2 Feb 1858, MI, and died 19 Jun 1941. She was buried in Clinton Grove Cemetery, Clinton, MI.[2]

He served in the late war in a Michigan regiment. Is a farmer; 3 ch.; resided Mount Clemens, MI.
