Jeremiah6 Whitney ([prob.]John5, [poss.] Samuel4, John3, Benjamin2, John1), probably son of John5 and Joanna (Foy) Whitney, was born 17 Apr 1766, as recorded in Weld, ME, but actual location may be elsewhere, possibly Greene, ME, and died after 1840, said 1846,[1] Weld, ME.

He married, Nov 1790 or 17 Oct 1790,[2] Turner, ME, Lydia Cole, by Rev. John Strickland, daughter of Job and Sarah (Reaves) Cole.[3] She was born 7 Jun 1766, as recorded in Weld, ME, 7 Jun 1767 as recorded in North Yarmouth, ME,[4] and died said 1821,[5] Weld, ME.
