Jonas⁶ Whitney (Timothy⁵, Jonas⁴, Moses³, Richard², John¹), son of Timothy⁵ and Alice (Whitney) Whitney,^[1] was born 21 Oct 1771, Petersham, MA,^[2] and died 23 Apr 1845, Otis, MA, aged 76 years.^[3]

Marriage intentions were published 25 Nov 1790, Blandford, MA, for him "Mr." and "Mrs." Mary Noble, "both of Blandford",^[4] daughter of Silas and Mary (Taylor) Noble. She was born 11 Jan 1771, Blandford, MA, and died aged 77 years [thus about 1848].

He was a blacksmith. He resided Otis, MA.
