Joshua⁵ Whitney (Joshua⁴, Joshua³, Benjamin², John¹), son of Joshua⁴ and Phebe (-----) Whitney,^[1] was born 27 Feb 1738/9, Uxbridge, MA.^[2]

He married firstly, 29 Oct 1765, Medway, MA Jemima Clark.^[3] She was born circa 1745, possibly Medway, MA, and died 22 Nov 1778, Medway, MA.^[4]

He married secondly, 28 Oct 1779, Medway, MA Keziah Hobbs.^[5] She was born circa 1742 (calculated from age at death), and died 15 Apr 1820, Medway, MA, in her 78th year.^[6]
